Adobe names Shanmugh Natarajan as MD, India
2017-07-21Adobe Systems has elevated Shanmugh Natarajan as Managing Director for Adobe Systems in India. Natarajan was formerly Executive Director, and will continue to lead Adobe operations in India, in addition to his ongoing responsibility as Vice-President, Engineering, Digital Media at Adobe.
Donna Morris, Executive Vice-President, Customer & Employee Experience, Adobe, said, “Shanmugh Natarajan provides leadership across our teams in India, which contribute to the strength of our employment brand and advancing Adobe’s position as a sought-after place to work. With an employee base that represents virtually every Adobe function, India continues to be a vital component of our growth.”
Shanmugh Natarajan joined Adobe in 2008 and has been instrumental in leading product development. His leadership has contributed to the development of many mobile and web products for Adobe Creative Cloud. Adobe operations in India have seen significant growth during his stretch as Executive Director.
Natarajan said, “It is my privilege to take on the role of Managing Director, and lead India operations to greater success. Adobe India is an ecosystem of great talent driven by innovation mindset. All of Adobe’s business units have large teams operating out of India, and we will continue to deliver exemplary products while focusing on customer experiences.”
As Natarajan continues to lead R&D and operations for Adobe India, Kulmeet Bawa, Managing Director, South Asia, will continue to lead Adobe’s field operations, further strengthening Adobe’s leadership team in the country.
Natarajan graduated from College of Engineering, Guindy with a bachelor’s degree in electronics and communication and holds a master’s in computer engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
