Paladion launches SOC book for enterprises to counter data breaches
The recent cases of cybersecurity breaches and escalation in the number of computer malware attacks have raised a concern among customers and enterprises who deal with IoT devices. There is need to adopt a proper cybersecurity strategy on the part of businesses to safeguard their data from such malicious practices. Thus, a robust cybersecurity strategy today has become a “must-have” commodity.
To avert such attacks and to reduce the risk of data breaches, a company’s Cyber defence services and offerings ought to be strong. Paladion, a security service provider, always takes pride to deliver such par excellence services to its consumers.
Paladion has come up with its Next-Gen SOC book, co-authored by Frost and Sullivan entitled, “How to build an Adaptive Future Ready Security Operations Centre”. The book suggests analytic solutions to enterprises on how to safeguard their companies against the data security breaches.
The book predicates upon the risk of increasing cyber threats in enterprises and how best the enterprises will be able to combat these advanced threats using machine intelligence, security automation and human expertise. It throws light on the solutions, recommendations and preventive methods to follow against cybersecurity breaches.
Sunil Gupta, President and Chief Operating Officer, Paladion Network, speaking on the book launch at an event in New Delhi, said, “Cyber threats have probably the second-largest impact on the global GDP, narcotics being in the first position. And India is in one among the top five countries which had seen the largest cyber threats in 2016.”
He added, “The security posture of a lot of enterprises is not ready to combat such advance threats. When we started thinking about it and as we studied tracking more and more people, we realized that there is lot to be done about. Today, the technology which enterprises are using is not enough, and the people that are deploying are not augmented, enabled and empowered. The idea is to help people adopt a preventive and future-ready SOC (security operations centre). The book talks about how to augment human intelligence and is also about moving from a tradition SOC to next-gen SOC.”
In most cases, businesses address threats through weak authentication practices; the book will help users to apply a high performance and effective cyber framework to defend and secure their data against the modern and advanced cyber threats and enable the ideal security management in an affordable way.
