Tech Data Corporation has announced that its Technology Solutions business, formerly a division of Avnet, has signed an agreement to distribute the entire legacy Dell enterprise portfolio, in addition to the legacy EMC portfolio. This means Technology Solutions will now deliver the complete Dell EMC portfolio, including servers, storage and networking, to its network of reseller partners across India.

“With a view of delivering the highest value to our partners, we have signed a strategic agreement with Dell EMC in India,” says Sundaresan Kanappan, Country General Manager, Technology Solutions India. “This will enable Technology Solutions to add additional value to the solutions distribution philosophy that we believe and follow. It opens up a multitude of opportunities for Indian partners as it enables Technology Solutions to deliver more choice than ever before to meet increasing market demands for complete end-to-end business solutions.”

“Our partners play a vital role in Dell EMC’s vision for business in the region,” says Anil Sethi, Vice-President – Channels, Dell EMC. “Technology Solutions, a strong distribution partner of Dell EMC, is now armed with a wider range of cutting edge solutions from us and will help in our goal of bringing better value to our customers and partners in the digital transformation journeys they undertake.”

The technical expertise, market knowledge and trusted business relationships held by Technology Solutions, paired with Dell EMC’s industry-leading solutions, provide a strong platform for partners to digitally transform their businesses.

Technology Solutions will provide its independent software vendor (ISV) and value-added reseller (VAR) partners with robust solutions across the Dell EMC portfolio, which will help modernize, automate and transform data centers with industry-leading servers, storage, cloud computing solutions and converged infrastructure technology.
