NEC’s Multifunction Projectors – NP600S and NP500WS
NEC NP600S and NP500WS bring compelling features in the form of ultra-short distance projection that enables business set-ups and classrooms with limited space to attain vivid display. NP600S and NP500WS projectors are especially suited for Indian establishments, for whom spacious meeting or conference rooms come at a premium cost.
The projectors sport NEC’s world-leading technological features, including WXGA panel for wide-format images, a wide array of input/output terminals and wall colour correction for vivid images projected directly on uneven surfaces such as walls or blackboards. They also come with Eco Mode that enables users to reduce projector noise while extending the life of the lamp – translating into low cost of ownership. Another green and noteworthy feature of the projectors is their Panel Crashed Air Cooling Technology that decreases heat outage up to 20% by optical components leading to lesser rotations of cooling fan and resulting in less power consumption and noise emission.
NP600S and NP500WS are based on LCD technology, producing sharp, crisp images and is especially suited for use in presentations. In these projectors, apart from better colour saturation, inconvenience of rainbow effects during technicolour video presentations has been removed.
NP600S and NP500WS have ultra-short focus projection for an 80-inch screen, it is possible to project from a distance of 1.20 m for the NP600S and 1.28 m for the NP500WS, respectively, so that the projector can be set on a desk in the classroom or used in a meeting corner.
It has high brightness of 2600 ANSI lumens for NP600S. Similarly, the NP500WS with 3000 lumens is capable of operating with indoor lighting without any major problems.
NP600S and NP500WS come with WXGA panel for wide-format images (1280 x 800). WXGA resolution is now the most common resolution in most businesses as well as commercial laptops on the market. It doesn't veer away from its familiar all-white ensemble, and retains the same familiar control layout as well.
Virtual Remote Function for Better Connectivity: The NP500WS projector allows a number of the “standard” inputs such as component, S-Video, VGA, and DVI. NP500WS also allows remote control of the projector via LAN or through the VGA port – all this is made possible via NEC's software utility.
If the Default Source is set to Auto, simply by turning on the power, the projector automatically finds the input signal and projects the images.
The projectors can be turned off using a power strip equipped with a switch and a breaker without powering down the projector with the Direct Power Off function.
NP600S and NP500WS come with Built-in 7W speaker. The 7W mono speaker is fairly powerful for projectors of this size, and is perfect for meeting rooms.
