The palm-sized Business Card scanner from Plustek – OptiCard 610 – is one of the revelations of modern technology. This small-sized device can be deceptive at times in terms of its performance. Cardiris 3.5 software, which includes powerful features such as drag-and-drop of scanned information from cards to the desired fields, and support for multiple address databases / formats, including HTML, Lotus Notes, Outlook 2003, Outlook, Outlook Express, Goldmine, Palm Desktop, ACT!, Text, XML, vCard, etc.
So, with the pressing of a button, OptiCard 610 converts all the business cards from across the world into digital database, which later on can be carried, edited and transformed to any user device. With the ease of usage, the users feel comfortable in daily management of their contacts with the powerful sort, search and select tools. The OptiCard 610 allows you to easily and accurately convert business cards into database records using I.R.I.S. power OCR technology, which recognizes cards from 50 countries. It means that it supports that many languages. The information is then automatically inserted into the correct database fields.
