GlobalCheck: the world's two largest adult websites blocked in Russia

The world's largest adult websites, Xvideos and XNXX, have been blocked in Russia. According to GlobalCheck, all major Russian providers and operators are blocking these resources, although there has been no official statement about this so far.

 

Problems occurred back in May, but the exact reasons have not yet been disclosed. By the way, depending on the time both sites are checked, some operators may start missing requests to them.

 

"So, we were banned in Russia a few days ago. Considering the circumstances, we'll take that as a compliment!", Xvideos representatives said on Twitter on May 23.

 

When you try to access the site, it simply loads endlessly without showing the content. There are no errors when loading or redirecting to the Roskomnadzor page either. XNXX shows the same behavior. Note that these are two of the most popular 18+ sites in the world.

 

It is now possible to access these sites only with the help of a VPN. At the same time, these resources are not listed in the registers of Roskomnadzor.

 

Interestingly, Ukrainian escort sites, such as Bordelero, as well as the Mexican escort service - Pander, have also been blocked.

 

The famous Pornhub opens through all providers throughout the country.
