MGCB: Michigan residents who use unregulated online gambling operators are at serious risk
The state agency that oversees Michigan's gambling industry recently warned residents who use unregulated gambling sites to place bets that they could lose their deposits and become victims of identity theft.
According to the Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB), based on complaints received, individuals who have dealt with unregulated gambling portals report that they have not been paid or cannot be reimbursed for their deposits.
