Google has rolled out ‘Flight Deals’, a next-gen AI-powered travel search tool designed to help budget-conscious and flexible travellers find the cheapest flights and best travel offers effortlessly. Integrated within Google Flights, this feature uses advanced artificial intelligence and real-time flight data to uncover unbeatable deals from hundreds of airlines and booking platforms.
Unlike traditional search methods where users manually tweak dates, destinations, and filters, travellers can now simply type prompts such as “week-long trip this winter to a city with great food, nonstop only” or “10-day ski vacation to a world-class resort with fresh powder.” The AI then processes these natural language requests, scans multiple flight options instantly, and delivers personalised travel recommendations.
Jade Kessler, Product Manager for Google Flights, explained, “What makes Flight Deals unique is its ability to understand exactly what you want and match you with the most relevant and up-to-date flight options, thanks to Google’s AI and live airfare data.”
Currently available in beta across the United States, Canada, and India, travellers can access this tool via the Flight Deals page or through the Google Flights menu. While the original Google Flights remains active with enhancements like the option to exclude basic economy fares for US and Canada trips, the new feature focuses on making trip planning faster, smarter, and more affordable.
