Kaspersky Lab has been named a "Leader" in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Endpoint Protection Platforms* for the second year in a row. Kaspersky Lab believes it has cemented its status as a provider of endpoint protection platforms with outstanding results for both the “completeness of vision” and “ability to execute” categories.
The Magic Quadrant is based on criteria in two categories: completeness of vision and ability to execute. Completeness of vision reflects the vendor's standing on innovation, and whether the vendor drives or follows the endpoint protection market. Ability to execute summarizes factors such as the vendor's financial viability, market responsiveness, product development, sales channels and customer base in the endpoint protection segment.
Eugene Kaspersky, Chairman and CEO at Kaspersky Lab said, “We are very pleased to be placed among the ‘Leaders’ in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for the second year running. It’s very important for us to receive such a positive affirmation from this leading IT market researcher. I believe our position in the Magic Quadrant confirms the high quality of the products and solutions we provide to our corporate clients all over the world. We are constantly improving our solutions for business, striving for ever higher scores in malware detection rates, product speed and manageability, while keeping abreast of rapidly changing corporate environments. Today companies have to identify, secure and manage mobile and virtual devices that contain corporate data. And we are here to provide them best-of-breed solutions to do this as effectively as possible.”
