NEC Asia-Pacific and Sypris Electronics have announced that their team was awarded a contract to develop a Cyber Security Laboratory for the Singapore Government. The contract will involve deploying a simulation-based training and modelling platform that will provide a safe, realistic hands-on environment for the participants to hone their skills in countering cyber-attacks.
“With the increasingly complex and sophisticated attacks from cybercriminals, an organization faces a multitude of cybersecurity risks to its IT systems, ranging from web defacement and malware infections to network and operation system attacks. NEC, together with Sypris, will bring together the latest technologies to jointly deliver a solution that will address the cybersecurity needs of the Singapore Government, to prevent and mitigate against potential attacks,” said Toshiya Matsuki, Chief Executive Officer, NEC Asia-Pacific.
The award is a result of a strategic partnership between NEC Asia-Pacific and Sypris Electronics to deliver a joint global product and service offering.
