Oracle partners with ICT Academy

The Oracle Academy and ICT Academy of Tamil Nadu (ICTACT) have signed a memorandum of understanding to support 400+ colleges in Tamil Nadu through the Oracle Academy program. The Oracle Academy is a cutting-edge program that provides global education institutions with industry-leading software, curriculum, support, and certification resources that faculty can integrate into their classrooms.
The Oracle Academy will provide software, technical support, access to curriculum and faculty professional development to institutions enrolled in the Oracle Academy's 'Introduction to Computer Science' and 'Advanced Computer Science programs. These programs will benefit 250,000 students across the state within three years. Through the 'Advanced Computer Science' program, colleges will receive software licenses for Oracle 11g Database, Application Software and Developer Suite; 24 x 7 technical support and access to curriculum developed by Oracle. Furthermore, 200 faculty members will receive free training on Oracle 11g while all other faculty will receive discounts to attend training. Students will receive discount vouchers for their certification exams.
