The IT firm has recently acquired Nagpur-based Infospectrum India for an undisclosed amount.
Pune-based Persistent Systems Ltd. has signed an agreement to acquire Agilent Technologies' software development and marketing business unit, located in Grenoble, France. The acquisition is expected to be complete by August 1, according to a company statement. However, Persistent has not shared other details regarding the deal.
Persistent Systems operates as an outsourced software product development company worldwide. Its services include research, usability engineering, prototyping, development, testing and quality assurance, porting, documentation, training, sales support, product deployment, technical support, maintenance and performance engineering.
The company has recently acquired Nagpur-based Infospectrum India Pvt. Ltd. from Infospectrum Inc. for an undisclosed amount. Infospectrum India offers systems integration services to telecom, technology, aerospace and defence sectors.
In April, Intel Capital sold its entire 2.29-per cent stake in Persistent Systems for total proceeds of $8.1 million.
