Redstor teams with Nexsan
2012-03-13Nexsan has announced that Redstor has partnered with Nexsan for the delivery of on-premise and cloud-based storage solutions. Through the partnership, Redstor has integrated Nexsan E60 storage systems into its cloud backup infrastructure and solutions portfolio for customers in multiple industries, particularly the education sector (through the Redstor Backup Service for Schools - RBUSS).
The E60 is based on Nexsan's Flexible Storage Platform and provides industry-leading storage density of 60 drives in 4U of rack space with scalability to meet configuration requirements. The E60 also supports the E60X storage expansion chassis, providing an additional 180TB of capacity while reducing power, space and costs. All systems have the ability to deploy with SATA, SAS and/or SSD drives to deliver high performance storage for physical or virtual hosts via a Fibre Channel or iSCSI SAN.
