An analysis of 2,500 devices revealed 7 infections, translating to an infection rate of 2.5 per 1,000 scans—a significantly higher rate than previously recorded. 
 
Some infections dates back to 2021, spanning multiple versions of iOS. These findings underscore Pegasus's ability to remain undetected by traditional cybersecurity measures, lurking in plain sight until specifically scanned for.
