Trellix has appointed Ganesh Iyeras the new Managing Director of India and South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) region.
Ganesh brings with him an experience of 20 years in sales and he is ready to spearhead Trellix’s strategy and expansion efforts across India and the SAARC region.
Neville Vincent, Trellix’s Senior Vice President for the Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) region said, “Ganesh has a proven experience growing businesses across South Asia. His record for measured risk-taking, strengthening customer relationships, and building resilient, long-lasting teams is strong and will benefit all of our stakeholders in the region,” said Vincent.
About his new role, Ganesh said, “Security teams are seeking a partner to manage their organisational security posture across cloud, networks, and endpoints in a single platform. With the Indian cybersecurity market rapidly growing and the threat landscape demanding more visibility to remediate threats, Trellix is well-positioned to meet those needs. I’m excited to join Trellix and steer its efforts in the region.”
Prior to this, Ganesh was associated with Nutanix for six years and he expanded the company’s footprint in India, particularly in the government sector. He also served companies like Microsoft, VMware, NICE Systems, Wipro, Bharti Airtel, and ComsatMax.
His extensive experience will be crucial as Trellix navigates an evolving threat landscape in India and neighboring countries.
