We have been offering products and services which are relevant to the market and thereby enable our partners to increase their presence in the market. Aligning ourselves with the changing customer needs and market conditions, the company has also been offering a series of services that has helped clients transform their respective businesses. Such services and solutions include our Cloud and Learning Solutions along with Enterprise Applications and Licences.

What is the USP of HCL's products?
Along with a variety of IT products and services that every company offers to the consumers in this domain, it is essential to address and provide services to customers at every level. We, at HCL Infosystems, invest a significant amount in research for understanding the needs of the customers and design the product accordingly. With the right product in place, we further strengthen our backend services in order to support the product throughout its lifecycle.
Our standing as a consumer facing company is based on strong fundamentals of not only understanding the Indian market conditions well but also being in sync with the needs and aspirations of the consumers and clients. Also, reliability in service has been a constant feature of our engagement with our customers. Customer service and satisfaction is a top priority for us at HCL and it is our constant endeavour to enhance our competencies in this field. In this context, we have added and received various certifications this year such as SEI CMM Level-5 and ISO 27K/20K certifications which include customer centres where we set up adequate infrastructure to receive subsequent certifications.
To further add to our reliable service quotient, we provide 24*7 customer support service and various innovations like a one-touch button for anytime, anywhere support service in HCL products for consumers. The one-touch HCL Touch button integrated in HCL products helps the user to connect with the 24X7 service team. This service button helps one to seek immediate help from HCL technical experts, who can even take remote control of the device and help to get the problems resolved, without any intervention from the user.
Also as part of our service engagement, we constantly look at widening our services to include the maximum possible consumer and client base availing of different services in the market. Some of the recent initiatives in extending services that we have taken up are offerings in Cloud, Mobility, IMS (Infra Management Services), Enterprise Application Services, HCL Touch and Managed Print Services. Also in terms of expanding our footprint, we have expanded our coverage to include block levels in many states.

How do you enrich the experience of your loyal customers (in terms of schemes, features, pricing, etc.)?
It is imperative for us to provide the best deals to our customers and channel partners who have been associated with us for long. HCL has many such promotions running in the past on various occasions.
For example, we have launched exclusive Ra.One Series of laptops - The Ra.One High definition Laptop series are power packed to give consumers an exhilarating experience this festive season. This exclusive range brought the ultimate cinematic entertainment to its customers on the go.
What are the opportunities for your channel partners?
Maintaining a long-term and fruitful relationship with our channel partners is a key feature of our engagement strategy with our channel partners. The endeavour is also to focus on regular channel engagement through various programmes and initiatives. We are also constantly expanding our footprint across various regions in the country, including in Tier-III and -4 towns.
Apart from extending our service network in these towns, we have also been expanding our portfolio to include mobility, cloud and learning solutions.
Apart from regular schemes and channel incentive programmes, the company is very aggressively engaging partners through training programmes, product knowledge workshops, etc.
In our continuous endeavour to collaborate with our commercial and IT partners, the company has been launching various initiatives and programmes which are designed to engage and motivate our partners to drive more business.

HCL has a robust market share in the SME, education and government sectors. We book most of our profits during the sales period only due to the demand of a three-year warranty by the customer during the post-sale period

We have been associated with HCL Infosystems for the past six years now and are, at present, registered as their ECC Silver Partner. With over 65% of our business coming from HCL Infosystems, we share a strong relationship with the company.
We deal in the entire HCL range of desktops, laptops and also the office automation offerings. We see HCL as a very strong brand in the SMB and education space. Therefore, our focus is on these sectors in line with our principals. We as a channel partner also have a good recall among corporates and SMBs and accordingly have a good revenue stream.
Earlier, we were involved in direct sales only. However, now we have started engaging in post- sale services like providing batteries, adapters and cartridges for copiers.
