As the demand for electronic hardware accelerates globally, Zetwerk’s focused expansion in ESDM is expected to play a key role in fulfilling both domestic and export requirements.
Zetwerk Electronics, the electronics division of the $2.1 billion Zetwerk Manufacturing Businesses, has further strengthened its presence in India with the inauguration of a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Bengaluru. The move aligns with Zetwerk’s aggressive expansion strategy to cater to high-growth sectors under the Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) umbrella, including telecom, automotive, industrials, and strategic electronics.
This facility is set to generate over 2,000 employment opportunities, contributing significantly to the local economy and reinforcing Zetwerk's role in the 'Make in India' initiative. The unit will specialize in manufacturing components and products that serve critical applications across India's growing digital and industrial landscape.

The unit will specialize in manufacturing components and products that serve critical applications across India's growing digital and industrial landscape.
Part of a National Growth Spree
The new Bengaluru plant marks Zetwerk’s eighth manufacturing unit in India and follows closely on the heels of its largest facility launch near Chennai earlier this year. With existing operations in Noida and Gurugram, Zetwerk is steadily expanding its national footprint, enabling faster turnaround times and efficient supply chain capabilities for clients across the country.
This geographical spread ensures proximity to key customers and partners while enhancing the company’s flexibility in responding to the growing demand in India's electronics manufacturing space. It also strategically positions Zetwerk to better serve diverse industries, ranging from next-gen automotive electronics to defense and telecom hardware.
Driving India’s ESDM Growth
As India increasingly positions itself as a global manufacturing hub, initiatives like these from companies such as Zetwerk are pivotal. By expanding its electronics capabilities, Zetwerk is not only accelerating the domestic production of high-value electronic components but also reducing dependency on imports. The company’s investment in infrastructure, automation, and workforce development places it at the forefront of India’s transition toward a self-reliant ESDM ecosystem.
Moreover, the new facility in Bengaluru—a major tech and electronics hub—will further drive collaboration with OEMs and component manufacturers looking for agile, high-volume, and high-quality production partners within India.
Going forward
With eight operational units and more in the pipeline, Zetwerk is setting a benchmark for scalable, tech-driven manufacturing in India. The company’s long-term strategy includes deeper integration with emerging technologies, such as IoT-enabled manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and AI-powered quality control systems, to maintain its leadership in precision manufacturing.
