FireEye unleashes NX 10000 Threat Prevention Platform
To enable multi-gigabit advanced threat protection for next-generation networks, FireEye has announced the release of a threat prevention platform NX 10000. This platform can help scale web-based cyber-attack protection.
Manish Gupta, Senior Vice-President Products, FireEye, said, With the FireEye NX 10000, organizations can scale threat protection and benefit from operational efficiencies gained from consolidation resulting in lower TCO. Unlike other security vendors, a key part of the FireEye philosophy is that all traffic must be inspected not just a portion. This new product helps to better scale that vision, providing quadruple the capacity to detect attacks coming from the Web in a single platform.
The FireEye NX 10000 can allow the FireEye Multi-Vector Virtual Execution (MVX) engine to deliver multi-gigabit performance. This turnkey platform can be deployed at Internet egress points to block web exploits and multi-protocol callbacks.
The other features of this platform can help to reduce nearly 50% in appliance size, 20% less power consumption and reduce operational overhead from managing fewer appliances.
