"Small is the new Big"- Indian SME's help energize the Indian economy

The Micro Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) sector has been playing an important role in socio-economic development by proving its resilience time and again even after being challenged by uncertain business rules and reforms .The sector contributes 45% to the nations GDP, says a Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) report, and is said to increase even more in the coming years. The MSME sector has proven to be a game changer for the Indian economy and the government of India is initiating various steps to encourage this sector.

The government understands this need and has laid down many plans to drive the SME's towards adopting and implementing technological methods to their business processes. One such initiative is the "Digital MSME Scheme", which was recently launched by Shri. Kalraj Mishra, Union Minister, Ministry of MSME. The major part of the scheme is, MSME's and SME's will be entitled to avail Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) solutions through Cloud Computing at a subsidized rate. The scheme is said to be fertile for the growth of SME's and MSME's which in turn will have a great impact on the Indian economy.

· Predictable monthly billing

· All SME's with Valid UAM are eligible for subsidy

· Easy to use dashboard for managing applications

· No burden of complete investment on hardware/software infrastructure

· Services at lower than market rate.
