Varun Gupta Appointed Country Manager – WPG C&C India

Varun Gupta has been appointed as Country Manager – WPG C&C India Limited, a part of WPG Holdings Limited(大聯大投資控股股份有限公司). The appointment marks a key leadership move as WPG strengthens its presence in India—one of the world’s fastest-growing and most strategic technology markets.

In his new role, Varun will lead WPG C&C’s India operations, focusing on driving business growth, deepening ecosystem and OEM partnerships, and advancing the company’s long-term strategic objectives across the country.

Sharing his perspective, Varun highlighted India’s strategic importance and rapid evolution as a technology market. He noted that WPG’s strong ecosystem, deep OEM relationships, and long-term vision provide a robust foundation for sustainable growth. He also expressed his enthusiasm for working closely with partners, customers, and internal teams to build scale, enhance collaboration, and deliver meaningful outcomes, while thanking the WPG leadership for their trust and confidence.

Before joining WPG Holdings, Varun spent over three years at Intel Corporation, where he held key roles including Pricing Manager – India and Distribution Business Manager. During this period, he played a pivotal role in shaping pricing strategies, strengthening distribution channels, and supporting market expansion in a highly competitive semiconductor environment.

Varun’s professional journey also includes leadership roles at prominent global technology companies such as HP, Lenovo, HCL Infosystems Ltd., and Canon India. Across these organizations, he has gained extensive experience in partner and channel management, product and enterprise business, key account management, and go-to-market execution across multiple Indian regions.

With over a decade of experience across the technology and distribution ecosystem, Varun Gupta’s appointment comes at a critical juncture for WPG C&C India. His market insight, partner-first mindset, and execution-focused leadership are expected to play a significant role in scaling operations, strengthening collaborations, and accelerating WPG’s growth ambitions in India.
