ADATA has announced its renewed strategy for business in India. ADATA is joining hands with existing strong IT distributors that have a strong financial background and the ability to sell its range of storage products targeted primarily at Home, SOHO and Corporate segments.
The company has also appointed three regional distributors. The newly appointed regional distributors are Champion Computers for North, Aldous Glare for South and Creative Computers for West and they will focus only on external hard drives and SSDs (Solid State Drive).
Chris Chang, MD, ADATA India Technology, said, "ADATA remains committed to providing quality innovative products to Indian consumers. In our endeavour to expand the reach of our products to a wider spectrum of consumers, we are immensely pleased to appoint the new set of Regional Distributors (RDs). The RDs are chosen based on their market strengths and whether they meet the criteria set by ADATA to cater to a larger cross-section of consumers. With these appointments, we are expecting rapid growth for ADATA brand in the current year."
With the ultra-notebook segment picking up in a big way, the company plans to focus on the key emerging storage segment of SSDs and the ubiquitous external hard drives this year as part of its strategy.
Furthering its focussed strategy for the Indian market, the company also has recently appointed Sudip De as Vice-President who will be overall in-charge of India business development, along with Regional Sales persons at key strategic locations in every region. The company also plans to carry our various ATL/BTL marketing activities to create awareness about its range of products along with these RDs in the coming months.
