ASUS launches ROG Strix G16 and TUF F16 with RTX 5050 in India

ASUS India has expanded its gaming portfolio with the launch of the new TUF Gaming F16 and a refreshed ROG Strix G16, both featuring the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 graphics. This expansion underlines ASUS’s continued commitment to making high-performance, AI-capable gaming machines more accessible across diverse user segments.

The introduction of the RTX 5050 series follows ASUS ROG’s earlier debut of RTX 5070-powered models and aims to cater to a wider spectrum of gamers, content creators, and power users. By integrating RTX 5050 GPUs into both new and existing models, ASUS is enhancing performance offerings at more mainstream price points without compromising on features or quality.

The newly launched ROG Strix G16 (G615) is powered by an Intel Core i7-14650HX processor paired with the RTX 5050 8GB GPU. It features a vibrant 16-inch 2.5K 240Hz ROG Nebula display with 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 16GB DDR5 RAM, a 1TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD, and a 90WHrs battery. It is priced at ₹1,59,990.

The upgraded ROG Strix G16 (2024) – G614 model now comes equipped with an AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX processor and the RTX 5050 GPU. Highlights include a 16-inch WUXGA 165Hz display, Copilot key for AI features, 4-zone RGB keyboard, and comprehensive color accuracy, starting at ₹1,44,990.
