For UID Aadhaar project, Ten-Fingerprint Scanner DactyScan84c by BioEnable Technologies - has received the final STQC certification. Ten fingerprint scanner also named as slap fingerprint scanner or 4+4+2 fingerprint scanner is designed to provide scans for both dry as well as wet fingers. The scanner has an ergonomic design, user-friendly interface and is light in weight. In addition, the scanner is also suitable for Government National ID, immigration visa applications and police, among others.

It is certified by the national and international certification bodies like STQC and FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) for guaranteed customer satisfaction."
Another representative of the organization said that the device rolls live scan at 500 dpi. In addition, it supports segmentation and rolled fingerprint scanning, while guaranteeing a correct scanning sequence.
