The new platform aims to help enterprises unlock siloed data, improve AI performance, and scale autonomous applications by combining Dell’s data infrastructure with NVIDIA’s AI capabilities across storage, orchestration and high-performance computing systems.
Dell Technologies has announced the Dell AI Data Platform with NVIDIA, aimed at enabling enterprises to unlock and activate data for AI applications and autonomous systems. The platform is designed to address key challenges such as fragmented data, lack of governance, and performance bottlenecks that often slow down AI adoption.
Automating the AI data lifecycle
The new platform integrates Dell’s data engines with NVIDIA’s AI infrastructure to automate the entire data lifecycle—from discovery and preparation to deployment—while ensuring governance and scalability. Key features include the Dell Data Orchestration Engine, which enables organizations to transform structured and unstructured data into AI-ready datasets, and a marketplace offering pre-built workflows and models.
Dell also supports NVIDIA’s AI-Q blueprint to help enterprises build AI agents for real-time decision-making. Additionally, a new AI Assistant within the Dell Data Analytics Engine introduces a conversational interface, allowing users to interact with data without requiring advanced technical skills. GPU-accelerated capabilities are expected to significantly improve processing speed, indexing, and query performance.
High-performance storage and AI infrastructure
To support large-scale AI workloads, Dell introduced advanced storage solutions such as the Lightning File System and Exascale Storage, designed to deliver high throughput and prevent bottlenecks. These innovations aim to ensure efficient GPU utilization and enable faster data processing for complex AI applications.
Highlighting the development, Venkat Sitaram, Senior Director & Country Head – Infrastructure Solutions Group, Dell Technologies India, said, “The biggest challenge enterprises in India face when moving AI from pilot to production is organizing and activating the vast amounts of data they already have. Much of this data remains siloed, unstructured, and difficult to use effectively. The Dell AI Data Platform with NVIDIA addresses this by automating the entire AI data lifecycle from discovery and preparation to deployment while ensuring governance and performance at scale. By integrating advanced data orchestration, high-performance storage, and NVIDIA-accelerated computing, it enables organizations to deploy faster, scale with confidence, and unlock real business outcomes. Together with NVIDIA, we are helping define the future of enterprise AI infrastructure for India, where data becomes the true engine of AI innovation.”
Jason Hardy, Vice President, Storage Technologies, NVIDIA, added, “The shift to autonomous agents requires a fundamentally different approach to data infrastructure, with automated orchestration, AI-native storage and GPU-optimized performance architected to work together. Dell's enterprise expertise, combined with full-stack NVIDIA AI infrastructure, creates the foundation organizations need to deploy AI at scale.”
The announcement also marks two years of the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA, with the company reporting strong customer adoption and measurable returns from enterprise AI deployments.
