GIGABYTE has presented a mid-range PC motherboard that should excite both the conservative Indian PC user and the gamer. The focus is on GIGABYTE Technology’s GA-Z97X-UD5H-BK, a part of the company’s 9 series PC motherboards, and which supports the 4th-Gen Haswell processors, Haswell Refresh, and the 5th-Gen Broadwell processors.
GA-Z97X-UD5H-BK features an 8-pin power connector and a standard 24-pin ATX power connector, a Killer E2200 series NIC (network interface card) partnered with Intel’s I217-V, and comes with support for multi-VGA configurations. Its key features include SATA Express and M.2 connections up to 10 Gb/s data transfer, and a Realtek ALC1150-based audio system.
GA-Z97X-UD5H-BK includes the GIGABYTE APP Center that gives you an easy access to a wealth of GIGABYTE Apps that help you get the most from your GIGABYTE motherboard. The Center allows user to launch all GIGABYTE Apps installed on the system, by using a simple, unified user interface.
Another GIGABYTE App Center utility that supports OC is Remote OC. It allows user to remotely control the PC with a powerful suite of software functions that include overclocking and system tweaking.
GA-Z97X-UD5H-BK also has a host of hardware features that assists in OC, such as the Power Button, Reset Buttons, CMOS Switch, Single BIOS Switch, BIOS Switch, and DEBUG LED.
The GIGABYTE Cloud Station, which comprises several GIGABYTE unique Apps, allows smartphones/tablet devices to communicate, share resources, and control desktop PCs via wireless connection, among others.
