Hackers breaches Nasdaq Bulletin Boards
2013-07-19A shocking revelation has been made. As per the latest update, some hackers have hacked Nasdaq's bulletin boards.
Nasdaq has warned users of its community via an email alert and advise them to change their passwords on other Websites where the same codes are in use.
Visitors to the site are currently greeted with a blank page and economical message: "We are currently upgrading the Nasdaq.COM Community site. We apologize for the inconvenience". However, the trading and e-commerce systems and transactions were remain unaffected by the break-in, informed the US exchange officials.
Here, it is important to note that the latest attack is the second successful breach on Nasdaq security in as many years. Earlier in 2010, hackers broke into Nasdaq OMX's Directors Desk, resulting in breach of management and board members' confidential documents.
Security experts believe that similar sloppy practices may have been behind the most recent breach.
