MindTree to locate Top Talent Nationally
2012-09-19It has been announced that MindTree is hunting for engineering talent across Tier-1, Tier-2 and Tier-3 colleges and will use AMCAT, an adaptive assessment tool from Aspiring Minds to acquire "Top Talent" on a merit-based system.
The company also claimed that having validated AMCAT's capabilities to assess performance, it will use an objective pre-set quality benchmark, which will help define the skill set required for an engineer to perform well in IT services roles irrespective of biases based on college or location.
Parthasarathy N. S., Chief Operating Officer, MindTree Limited, said, "We believe that there is a large pool of untapped talent in Tier-2 and -3 cities which are not currently being tapped by large organizations. We look forward to work with Aspiring Minds to streamline our campus hiring process and provide an equal opportunity to all deserving students."
"MindTree is an aspirational company to work for amongst engineering graduates and Aspiring Minds is proud to partner with them in their innovative approach of giving equal opportunity to students across the country. AMCAT has been recognized to evaluate and acquire the ‘right’ talent and simultaneously increase the reach and sourcing capability of an organization," said Himanshu Aggarwal, CEO & Co-Founder, Aspiring Minds.
