Siemens has roped in Indu Sharma as Vice President of Corporate Communications effective from June 1, 2024, according to stock exchange filing. With the new role, Sharma will be shifting her base to Mumbai.
Indu Sharma is a public relations and integrated communications professional with over two decades of experience in devising corporate communications strategy, purpose communication, and telling brand stories across corporate and agency environments.
Before joining Siemens, she has worked with Schneider Electric as Senior GM Communications. She was leading communications for Schneider Electric which comprises Executive & Corporate Communications, Leadership Profiling, CSR and Sustainability Communication, Internal Communications Branding. Sharma was also associated with Reckitt (erstwhile Reckitt Benckiser) as Head Corporate Communications.
Sharma has done her Executive MBA from ICFAI University and holds a Master’s degree in Mass Communication. She is also a certified Digital Marketing professional.
