Tech Mahindra launches Communications Experience Center in Pune to drive AI-led telecom innovation
The new facility aims to help telecom operators co-create next-generation business models, enhance customer experience, and fast-track AI-driven transformation through immersive use cases, collaborative innovation, and a globally integrated communications framework.
Tech Mahindra has launched its Communications Experience Center (CEC) in Pune, strengthening its focus on enabling telecom operators to navigate industry disruption through AI-led innovation and collaborative solution development. The new facility is positioned as a central hub for Communications Service Providers (CSPs) to rethink growth strategies, operational models, and customer engagement in an increasingly complex and low-margin environment.
The launch builds on Pune’s long-standing role as a key innovation hub for Tech Mahindra’s communications business. The company plans to support the center with satellite innovation hubs across global markets, ensuring region-specific solutions while maintaining a unified framework for telecom transformation.
Enabling next-generation telecom capabilities
The CEC is aligned with Tech Mahindra’s telecom strategy of “Grow, Empower, and Transform,” focusing on building new growth platforms and enabling API-led ecosystems, B2B2X business models, and agentic operations. It is also designed to accelerate the adoption of AI-native, cloud-first technologies and autonomous network capabilities.
Amol Phadke, Chief Transformation Officer, Tech Mahindra, said, “Communications Service Providers are at a defining moment as they navigate rising complexity alongside the need for sustainable growth. As Tech Mahindra marks 40 years of deep telecom heritage, our Communications Experience Center in Pune serves as a nerve center where CSPs can rethink growth, agentic operations, and customer experience, moving from experimentation to production. Aligned with our communications narrative of ‘Unlock Spectrum of Possibilities,’ the center reinforces our role as a strategic transformation partner for the agentic AI era.”
Driving innovation through collaboration
The facility offers immersive demonstrations and communications-specific use cases tailored for CXO-level decision-makers. It brings together strategy, technology, and execution, enabling faster solution discovery and informed decision-making.
Key focus areas include agentic customer and employee journeys, autonomous network operations, and digital service models for both consumers and enterprises. These capabilities are powered by AI-driven solutions deployed on secure, cloud-based platforms.
The center also features partner-led co-creation zones, encouraging ecosystem collaboration and joint innovation. This approach is expected to help CSPs move beyond pilot projects to scalable deployments more efficiently.
With deep expertise in the communications sector, Tech Mahindra continues to work closely with leading telecom operators worldwide. The launch of the CEC further strengthens its position as a digital transformation partner, supporting CSPs in addressing industry challenges while driving sustainable growth and long-term business value.
