Times Network, India’s prominent broadcast and digital media group, has announced the acquisition of Digit.in, a media brand of the 9.9 Group. This acquisition includes both the print and digital assets of Digit, marking a significant expansion in Times Network’s digital publishing domain, particularly in the technology and gaming sectors.
The value of the deal is not disclosed by either party though rumors in the industry corridors speculate the deal value to be around Rs 20-22 crore.
Vikas Gupta, Founder & Director of 9.9 Group, expressed his excitement about the acquisition, stating, “Digit has been India’s technology navigator for the past 24 years, and we are thrilled to announce that it has found a new home with one of the largest publishers in the country, the Times Network.
