Spread across 50 countries, Tyco Electronics provides complete end-to-end solutions in UTP, STP and Fiber product range. It has manufacturing facilities in approximately 20 countries strategically located close to customers’ facilities. In March 2011, Tyco Electronics changed its name to TE Connectivity to better reflect the products and solutions it provides to customers.

Post merger of ADC, how do you see the market response to your organization TE as a whole?

With integration of ADC we have a strong combined product portfolio both AMPNETCONNECT & TRUENET, which gives our customers a wider product choice with outstanding service. We provide complete end-to-end solutions in UTP, STP & Fiber product range.

What about the product portfolio offering to the Indian VARs?

Copper & Fiber Structured Cabling, Datacenter Solutions, FTTH Solutions, Broadcast & Entertainment Solutions are some of the products that we are offering to the channel.

In terms of your products and solutions offering, which are the target verticals in the Industry?

Our products and solutions mainly target the IT, ITES-BPO, Banking & Financial, Government, Education.

What about the entry barriers for others in terms of services offered by TE?

The market is open for everyone. Our Pre Sales & Post Sales services, Excellent Training, Warranty, Wide spread Distribution Network differentiates us in the market.

Please explain about the supply chain and distribution networks.

We work with only the best distribution, partners who deliver the right products to the right place at the right time. We have 3 National Distributors, more than 180 authorized SI’s, thousands of resellers geographically spread across India. 

What about the core com-petency in terms of manufacturing capabilities is concerned?

We design, manufacture, and market over 500,000 products for more than 200,000 customer locations in a broad array of industries including automotive; data communications; consumer devices; telecom and enterprise networks; aerospace, defence and marine; medical; energy; and lighting. Our spirit of innovation drives us to continually hone our technological edge with the goal of delivering the best solutions with the highest quality every time.
