In an initiative to make Nodia a Smart City, Vodafone India has rolled out Wi-Fi-enabled bus shelter at Noida Sector 18 by Alok Verma Business Head, Vodafone Delhi-NCR in the presence of Gaurav Bidhuri, Bronze Winner at World Boxing Championship 2017. This Wi-Fi bus shelter allows customers to enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi for up to 20 minutes per day. An operator-agnostic offering, this Wi-Fi service can be availed by users of any Indian telecom operator.
The bus shelter at Sector 18 Noida witnesses a heavy influx of people during the entire day, which makes it a suitable choice for such a setup. This is Vodafone’s third such Wi-Fi bus shelter in Delhi NCR after Huda City Centre and Sector 14 Gurugram. Vodafone Wi-Fi Hotspot network is also available across 116 prime locations of Delhi-NCR. At all other locations, Vodafone customers can enjoy their free Wi-Fi quota which is up to 10 GB of Wi-Fi data for RED postpaid customers and up to 1 GB of Wi-Fi data (for prepaid customers) on 4G/3G data packs recharge above Rs.255.

The announcement is in conjunction with the Telecom regulator and Government’s initiative to set up a hotspot Wi-Fi network across the country as a part of the Digital India campaign.
