Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) operating under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has come up with a new IT Park in Kolkata.
Situated at the heart of Kolkata’s IT hub - Sector-V, STPI’s new IT Park building spans approximately 200,000 sq. ft. across 06 floors. With its prime location near a water body offering a scenic lake view, STPI’s green building promises an environment conducive to productivity and innovation.
The building's strategic positioning provides easy accessibility via bus and auto routes from both sides of the main road. It is designed to meet the modern needs of the IT/ITeS industry, boasting a plethora of amenities, including a 200-seater capacity auditorium, multiple conference halls, canteen area, cafeteria, open podium/terrace, open courtyard etc. for official functions and small parties. Additionally, the IT Park has modern security facilities, breakout lounge, and sports facilities like tennis and badminton courts available for use.
The IT Park is fully functional from April 2024.
STPI is engaged in promoting IT/ITES Industry, innovation, R&D, start-ups, product/IP creation in the field of emerging technologies like IoT, Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Computer Vision, Robotics, Robotics Process Automation (RPA), Augmented & Virtual Reality, Animation & Visual effect, Data Science & Analytics for various domains like Gaming, FinTech, Agritech, MedTech, Autonomous Connected Electric & Shared(ACES) Mobility, ESDM, Cyber Security, Industry 4.0, Drone, Efficiency Augmentation, etc.
