Kushagra Sharma Promoted to Veeam Head of Marketing, India & SAARC

Veeam Software has announced the promotion of Kushagra Sharma as Director and Head of Marketing – India & SAARC, where he will lead regional marketing strategy and drive business acceleration.

With nearly 20 years of experience in technology marketing, brand transformation, and ecosystem development, Kushagra is poised to strengthen Veeam’s market leadership in data protection and cyber resilience.

Since joining Veeam over two years ago, Kushagra has been pivotal in shaping the brand’s positioning as a trusted provider of backup, recovery, and modern data management solutions. His efforts have helped enhance Veeam’s perception as a partner of choice for enterprises focused on business continuity and data availability.

Before Veeam, Kushagra held senior roles at Citrix, VMware, Micro Focus, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and IBM, where he led demand-generation programs, digital transformation campaigns, and partner-led strategies. He began his career in technical and customer-facing roles at Mphasis, Microland, and Telelogic, giving him a holistic perspective on aligning marketing with business outcomes.

With deep expertise in cloud, cybersecurity, and enterprise technology ecosystems, Kushagra will play a critical role in advancing Veeam’s mission to accelerate growth and expand its leadership across India and the SAARC region.
