This initiative reinforces India’s position as a hub for cybersecurity innovation and AI-driven advancements, creating a safer digital ecosystem for businesses and consumers alike.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the Data Security Council of India (DSCI) have announced a groundbreaking collaboration to bolster the capabilities of India’s cybersecurity startups and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) by leveraging the transformative potential of generative AI. This partnership aims to drive innovation, enhance security frameworks, and foster growth within the rapidly evolving cybersecurity ecosystem in India.
“At DSCI, we are focussed on helping startups advance their innovation edge and marketability in cybersecurity. The emergence of generative AI in advancing product development is a significant opportunity for startups, and this new initiative will boost the opportunity for them to access industry-leading LLMs, tools, infrastructure, services, and expertise from AWS to augment capabilities of their products. AWS is renowned, and its cloud and AI technology not only enable startups and ISVs to build cutting-edge products, but also scale them to the global market,” said Vinayak Godse, CEO, DSCI.
Generative AI, known for its ability to analyze vast datasets and generate human-like outputs, has emerged as a game-changer in cybersecurity. It enables organizations to detect, predict, and respond to threats more efficiently. Through this partnership, AWS and DSCI intend to provide cybersecurity startups and ISVs with access to advanced generative AI tools, resources, and training, helping them create innovative solutions to address complex security challenges.
“Security is top priority for us at AWS, and building a safe cyberspace is of paramount importance to help drive the growth of India’s digital economy. We are committed to foster innovation in India’s cyberspace, and are excited to collaborate with DSCI to enable builders leverage generative AI, and catalyse cybersecurity innovation,” said Sundar V.G., Director – Business Development, AWS India Private Limited.
The collaboration focuses on developing scalable AI-driven cybersecurity applications to combat evolving cyber threats. AWS’s robust cloud infrastructure will be pivotal in offering startups and ISVs the computing power and flexibility required to deploy these AI solutions. In addition, DSCI will provide strategic mentorship and industry insights, ensuring that these solutions meet global security standards and address pressing industry needs.
