RVNL is witnessing growing prominence in India’s railway infrastructure sector.
A syndicate led by Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (abbreviated as RVNL), along with HFCL Limited and Aerial Telecom Solutions Pvt. Ltd., has been announced as the lowest bidder for a project by BSNL. The contract, awarded by BSNL, is domestic and will span over a period of three years for construction and 10 years for maintenance.
Now, the consortium will undertake the development, upgradation, and operation & maintenance of the middle mile network of Bharat Net on a Design Build Operate and Maintain (DBOM) model. The total value of the contract stands at approximately ₹5,008.20 crore

This latest win adds to a series of successful bids by Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL). Recently, RVNL, in partnership with SCPL, secured a project from Eastern Railway valued at ₹837 crore, holding a 74% stake in the joint venture. Additionally, RVNL was awarded a ₹625 crore Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract by South Central Railway, focused on doubling the track between Parbhani and Parli stations in Maharashtra.
