Digital Connexion has launched India’s first NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data Center at its MAA10 facility in Ambattur, Chennai, marking a major milestone in the country’s artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure growth. This certification under the NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data Center program positions MAA10 as a purpose-built hub for high-density GPU workloads, AI training, machine learning (ML), and accelerated computing, reinforcing India’s place in the global AI ecosystem.
“The ability to process and manage data at scale is foundational to successful AI deployments. This certification showcases MAA10 as a high-performance environment engineered to process massive AI data volumes, empowering enterprises to innovate at scale,” said C R Srinivasan, CEO of Digital Connexion.
MAA10 has been designed to meet global standards, adhering to ASHRAE W2 thermal guidelines and offering both air-cooled and liquid-cooled infrastructure to handle next-generation AI and GPU-intensive applications. Its unique N+2C power architecture ensures high availability, reliability, and uptime for mission-critical AI workloads.
The new data center comes at a time when AI adoption in India is growing rapidly. According to the Data Gravity Index Report 2.0, Delhi alone is projected to generate 12.3k exabytes of data by 2025, creating an urgent need for advanced data management solutions. MAA10’s DGX-ready infrastructure allows enterprises to tackle Data Gravity challenges effectively and accelerate AI-driven innovation.
Integrated with PlatformDIGITAL, Digital Realty’s global data center platform, MAA10 provides seamless connectivity to an AI-optimized global ecosystem, enabling Indian enterprises to access cloud services, collaboration tools, and cross-border data solutions with ease.
Sustainability remains a core focus for Digital Connexion. The MAA10 facility holds a TIA-942 Rated 3 certification and IGBC Platinum rating, ensuring energy efficiency, environmental responsibility, and operational resilience even during maintenance. With its purpose-built GPU infrastructure and state-of-the-art AI-ready capabilities, MAA10 is poised to play a transformative role in driving India’s AI ambitions, supporting industries such as finance, healthcare, manufacturing, and telecom in their digital transformation journeys.
