In a landmark moment for India’s wearable tech industry, QWR (Question What’s Real), a leading deep-tech XR hardware startup, has officially launched Humbl, India’s first truly AI-powered smart glasses. Purpose-built for creators, professionals, and tech-savvy users, Humbl combines vision, voice, and contextual AI to offer features like POV video capture, real-time translations, navigation assistance, meeting summaries, and hands-free reminders — all activated with a simple voice command, “Hey Humbl.”
Unlike traditional wearables, Humbl is designed without a screen, offering discreet, utility-focused interactions. It supports multiple Indian languages and dialects, making it highly accessible to a linguistically diverse population. This intelligent assistant is always aware of its surroundings, delivering real-time, voice-first responses for everyday tasks, travel, productivity, and more.
“With Humbl, we’re proud to introduce India’s first AI smart glasses,” said Suraj Aiar, Founder & CEO of QWR. “The name reflects our core belief: technology should empower, not overpower. We see Humbl as the beginning of a new category in Indian consumer hardware.”
QWR aims to build a vibrant developer ecosystem around Humbl, encouraging innovation in accessibility, productivity, and localized use cases. With shipments set to begin in Q4 2025, the official launch event is expected later this month. Future products include AI audio glasses and HUD-enabled wearables.
QWR also plans to participate in India’s PLI (Production-Linked Incentive) scheme, boosting advanced manufacturing capabilities for exports and contributing to India's growing reputation in global hardware innovation. With the smart eyewear market projected to reach 30 million units globally by 2030, and India’s segment expected to grow over 30% annually, QWR is positioning itself at the forefront of the AI wearable revolution in India.
