Cyberattacks Hit US Water Utilities
A coordinated wave of cyberattacks targeting water utilities across several U.S. states has heightened concerns over the security of critical infrastructure. According to U.S. officials, multiple water systems were disrupted, forcing some utilities to switch to manual operations and issue precautionary boil-water notices while investigations continue.
Authorities are examining the attacks to determine their origin and assess the full extent of the damage.
