Acer unveils new Predator Helios lineup with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs and AI features
The new gaming laptops bring high-refresh-rate OLED and WQXGA displays, next-generation cooling, powerful Intel processors, expanded memory and storage options, and Acer’s software ecosystem for gaming, content creation and productivity.
Acer has expanded its gaming portfolio in India with three new laptops under the Predator Helios Neo range — the Predator Helios Neo 16S AI, Predator Helios Neo 16 AI and Predator Helios Neo 16. The company announced the new models at its Next@Acer India event held in Delhi on August 10.
The new laptops are designed to address different requirements across gaming, content creation and high-performance computing. Acer has combined the latest Intel processors with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs, high-refresh-rate displays and enhanced thermal systems across the lineup.
The company is also integrating Acer Intelligence Space and PredatorSense, allowing users to access AI-powered tools while controlling performance, cooling and other system settings.
Helios Neo 16S AI focuses on portability
The Predator Helios Neo 16S AI is positioned as the most portable model in the new range, featuring a metal chassis measuring less than 18.9mm in thickness. The laptop can be configured with up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 356H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU.
It features a 16-inch OLED WQXGA display with a 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. The panel carries VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification and Calman Verified colour accuracy, while offering NVIDIA G-SYNC support and 100% DCI-P3 colour coverage.
The device can be equipped with up to 64GB DDR5 memory and 2TB PCIe SSD storage, along with a 92Wh battery. Acer has also incorporated its fifth-generation Predator AeroBlade 3D cooling technology. AI-enabled webcam features through Acer PurifiedView and noise reduction via Acer PurifiedVoice are included for video calls and other applications.

Helios Neo 16 AI brings flagship hardware
The Predator Helios Neo 16 AI is aimed at gaming enthusiasts and creators seeking higher-end performance with AI capabilities. It is powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU with up to 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM.
The laptop features a 16-inch WQXGA HDR display with a 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. NVIDIA Advanced Optimus, G-SYNC support, Calman Verified colour accuracy and 100% DCI-P3 colour coverage are also included.
For demanding workloads, the laptop supports up to 64GB DDR5 memory and 2TB PCIe Gen4 SSD storage. Its cooling setup combines fifth-generation Predator AeroBlade fans, liquid metal thermal grease and vector heat pipes to support sustained performance during extended gaming and creative workloads.
Helios Neo 16 targets mainstream gamers
The Predator Helios Neo 16 completes the new lineup, targeting mainstream gamers who want high-performance hardware for competitive and everyday gaming. The laptop can be configured with up to Intel Core i9-14900HX processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPUs.
It sports a 16-inch WQXGA display with a 180Hz refresh rate, 3ms response time, MUX Switch technology and 100% sRGB colour coverage. The laptop supports up to 32GB DDR5 memory and 2TB PCIe Gen4 SSD storage.
Acer has equipped the model with fifth-generation Predator AeroBlade cooling and vector heat pipes. Other features include Killer DoubleShot Pro connectivity, Thunderbolt 4 support and access to Acer's AI-powered software ecosystem.
RTX 50 Series and AI features across lineup
Across the three models, Acer is bringing NVIDIA Blackwell architecture and DLSS 4.5 alongside AI-powered gaming enhancements. The laptops also provide access to PredatorSense controls and Acer Intelligence Space, while AI-assisted webcam and audio capabilities are designed to support productivity and communication.
The combination of newer processors, RTX graphics, high-refresh-rate displays and enhanced cooling positions the new Predator Helios Neo range across different segments, from portable premium gaming to enthusiast-level performance and mainstream gaming.
Price and availability
The Predator Helios Neo 16S AI is priced at ₹262,990, the Predator Helios Neo 16 AI at ₹282,990, and the Predator Helios Neo 16 at ₹242,990. Acer is offering cashback of up to ₹10,000 on each model.
The new laptops will be available through Acer Exclusive Stores, Acer E-store, Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, Reliance and Vijay Sales.
