The company, AirLive mainly focusses on providing surveillance cameras and solutions. Its surveillance cameras cover the largest part among the PoE switch, storage, software and network products. In a chat with VARINDIA, Beesha Lin, Sales Director, AirLive, discusses more about the company. Edited excerpts:
For how long have you been in the surveillance business? What is your current market share?
Since 2008, AirLive has quickly taken its place as a leading brand in the surveillance network solution industry. As a result, AirLive has come to hold a climbing numbers of the share in the global market.
How do you differentiate between your products and the traditional CCTV cameras?
AirLive started dealing in IP surveillance cameras five years ago. IP cameras digitize the video inside the camera while analog cameras require an encoder or DVR to digitize the video. IP cameras support megapixel, while analog ones do not. IP cameras can connect to an IP network.
What is the USP of your cameras?
AirLive is expert at providing wireless network solution and continues to fulfil consumers’ demand and foresees the technology trend to provide the IP surveillance solution built upon the network solution to the global market. Thus, AirLive can easily provide complete Surveillance Networking Solutions, and with its complete, comprehensive product line, each product carries strong potential and special features to best fit various market requirements. Some of the main camera features are High Megapixel or Full HD, Night Visibility, Wide Angle, Panoramic View, PIR, Speed Dome, etc. Some models are designed for monitoring convenience, and some are designed to adapt to the tough weathers or the outdoor environment.
What is the business potential for vendors and what are the opportunities for the channel?
Currently, AirLive welcomes various channels to discuss the opportunities to provide AirLive’s products and a solution at surveillance industry both at the project and consumer market. As of now, we have distributors who focus on both markets. AirLive continues to provide new verticals to our existing list, and the latest ones will be Access Control and Home Surveillance. We have partnered with Access Control suppliers and Intelligent Software who are known for providing complete and multi-option Access Control solutions to our clients. Home Surveillance is the famous topic and a serious concern for a while. AirLive has joined the telecom service provider, Etisalat, to provide Home Safety with AirLive IP cameras.
How do you see real estate as your valued client?
With the growing demand for Home Surveillance cameras, real estate's demand for Intelligent Home Service (including Home Surveillance Service) as part of the value-added services for its new constructed building package has increased.
