Amdocs, a leading provider of software and services for communications and media companies, has partnered with Google Cloud to launch a pioneering initiative aimed at transforming the management and optimization of 5G networks. Through this collaboration, Amdocs introduces its new Network AIOps solution, which utilizes Google Cloud's Vertex AI and BigQuery to help 5G network providers automate complex network operations, improve service reliability, and enhance customer experiences.

Telecommunications service providers (CSPs) are under increasing pressure to lower operational costs, improve network resilience, and deliver superior customer service. As they shift their 5G ecosystems to cloud-native, distributed networks, they face challenges such as integrating equipment from multiple vendors, managing expansive architectures, and handling the massive data generated by 5G networks. Real-time optimization and actionable insights are crucial to overcoming these obstacles.

Amdocs Network AIOps is built on Google Cloud’s advanced AI infrastructure, which includes Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Dataproc, BigQuery, and Vertex AI, providing a scalable and reliable platform for network optimization. The solution offers AI-driven insights that use predictive analytics and root-cause analysis to enable CSPs to proactively manage their networks and reduce incident resolution times. It also automates routine tasks such as network configuration, performance optimization, and incident remediation, reducing human error and freeing up resources. Additionally, Network AIOps features closed-loop automation, continuously learning from data to improve accuracy and network performance. The solution also incorporates predictive maintenance, utilizing machine learning to anticipate network failures and minimize downtime.
