Amdocs has announced that two analyst firms have separately reported it as the leading services vendor in the global telecom testing market. TechNavio and NelsonHall estimate Amdocs’ market share to be the highest in the industry at 15–17 per cent and 13 per cent, respectively.
TechNavio’s report lists vendor stability, cost-effectiveness, reliability and scope of offerings as the key criteria for service providers when choosing a software testing services vendor, and highlights Amdocs’ industry-specific focus on the telecom sector as a key company strength.

On the other hand, NelsonHall’s research finds that despite tougher economic conditions, there is an increasing service provider demand for specialist testing services, as reflected in Amdocs’ market-share leadership over non-telecom-specific vendors and offshore solutions.
