Anand Ramamoorthy quitting McAfee
Anand Ramamoorthy is stepping down as the Managing Director - South Asia at McAfee and is currently serving his notice period. Anand, who was appointed McAfee's MD (previously Intel Security) in 2016 was responsible for driving enterprise-centric produce revenues, strengthening the consumer base and positioning India for rapid non-linear growth.
Anand also spearheaded growth at McAfee by helping it to achieve #1 market share in 3 of the 5 primary security technologies deployed in the competitive market. He also formulated and executed on a 'vertical' based enterprise strategy that has led to creation of the strongest 'new logo' and new business pipeline in APAC.
Prior to this, Anand was working as the Director of Sales and Marketing, South Asia before being appointed as managing director at Intel Security. He also worked as the managing director at Harman, a leading consumer electronics company before making the move to Intel.
He has spent most of his career in the USA while playing key roles at several large multinational corporations as senior leadership.
Anand has a BE degree from IIT, Roorkee and an MS degree from Auburn University.
