
With more than 20% market share in the Indian projector market, BenQ has announced the launch of its Full HD 1080P 3D wireless home entertainment projector – W1500. Built on the SmartEco Technology, W1500 is designed to adjust the lamp power to maximize lamp power saving up to 70% and can also reduce maintenance costs. It will also allow the user to project uncompressed FHD image from HDMI output devices.

Equipped with world-leading 5Ghz Wireless Full HD, the new projector brings cable-free feature to home entertainment, wireless 2D to 3D conversion facility from a diverse range of multimedia sources with HDMI interface, from Blu-ray, DVD or AV-R player, set-top boxes to games consoles. The extra-long lamp life of 6,000 hours significantly lessens the overall total cost of ownership of the projector by reducing the frequency of lamp replacement.
The other key features of this home projector include support for 3D timing, NVIDIA 3D TV, has 1.6x Big Zoom feature, etc. It can support to display 3D contents in PC powered by an NVIDIA chip, such as games, apps, videos, photos and Blu-ray 3D. Along with that, the Lens shift offers the extra flexibility to overcome any minor miscalculations during projector installation.
The BenQ W1500 is available at an MRP of Rs.1,75,000 across India.
