Elon Musk’s social media platform, X has announced a partnership with Visa to launch the X Money Account for making digital payments. The digital wallet will allow users to send, receive, and transfer money directly on the platform.
VISA partnership to make transactions seamless
According to X CEO Linda Yaccarino, Visa will enable users to move funds between their bank accounts and X’s digital wallet, making transactions seamless. The service will also let users connect their debit cards for peer-to-peer payments.
In a post on X, Yaccarino said, "Another milestone for the Everything App: @Visa is our first partner for the @XMoney Account, which will debut later this year. [It] allows for secure + instant funding to your X Wallet via Visa Direct. [It] connects to your debit card, allowing P2P payments. [There is an] option to instantly transfer funds to your bank account. [This is the] first of many big announcements about X Money this year."
