Ericsson has secured a multi-year, multi-billion-dollar extension deal with Bharti Airtel to supply advanced 4G and 5G Radio Access Network (RAN) products and solutions.
Under the agreement, Ericsson will deploy centralized RAN and Open RAN-ready solutions, driving network transformation to deliver broader coverage and increased capacity for Airtel customers. Additionally, the contract includes upgrading the software on existing 4G radios, further enhancing the user experience by improving network performance and efficiency.
