EvoFox expands wireless gaming mouse portfolio, targets performance-first gamers in India
With prices starting at ₹999, EvoFox’s latest wireless gaming mouse lineup focuses on core performance metrics rather than cosmetic features, aiming to offer accessible, competitive-grade hardware for casual, competitive, and esports-focused gamers across India.
EvoFox, the gaming peripherals brand from the house of Amkette, has unveiled its most extensive wireless gaming mouse lineup to date, reinforcing its push to become a performance-led player in India’s fast-growing gaming accessories market. The new range includes four models—Shadow X Pro, Phantom Air Wireless, Blaze 2, and Banshee 2—covering a wide spectrum of gaming needs, skill levels, and budgets.
The company said the lineup has been designed to deliver consistent real-world gaming performance, with launch prices starting at ₹999, positioning it among the most affordable high-performance wireless gaming mouse portfolios available globally.
Performance-first design over cosmetic features
As gaming peripherals gain popularity, EvoFox noted that the definition of a “gaming mouse” has often been diluted by visual elements such as RGB lighting rather than functional capability. The new wireless lineup instead prioritises hardware specifications that directly influence gameplay.
All models meet core gaming benchmarks, including a minimum 1000Hz polling rate, DPI ranges starting from 400 and extending beyond 6,000, acceleration above 20g, frame processing exceeding 4,800 FPS, and tracking speeds of up to 60 inches per second. According to the company, these specifications translate into faster response times, precise tracking, and reliable performance during high-speed and competitive gameplay.
“With this launch, our intent was to cut through the noise in the gaming accessories market,” said Varun Bapna, Founder, EvoFox. “A gaming mouse should be defined by how it performs in actual gameplay, not just by how it looks on a desk.”
Tiered lineup from casual to esports gaming
The Shadow X Pro, launching in February 2026 at ₹999, is positioned as an entry-level wireless gaming mouse for users upgrading from office peripherals. The Phantom Air Wireless, priced at ₹1,299, targets entry-level competitive gamers with a lightweight design optimised for fast-paced FPS titles.
The Blaze 2, priced at ₹1,499, caters to mid-level gamers seeking greater control through programmable buttons and macro support. At the top end, the Banshee 2, priced at ₹1,999, is aimed at esports and serious competitive players, offering a Pixart sensor, extensive software customisation, and an integrated display for real-time settings visibility.
Through this expanded portfolio, EvoFox aims to provide gamers with a clear, performance-led upgrade path from casual play to professional competition.
