Microsoft is soon going to launch Windows 11 for personal computer users. The company will launch it at an event on June 24. Windows 10 was launched in 2015 i.e. five years ago and since then it is running. Now the company is all set to launch the new Windows 11.
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and Chief Product Officer Panos Panay both will be present at the event. The company is also sending media invites for this event. The event started from 8.30 pm today 24th June 2021.
Only a few years ago, Microsoft was suggesting that Windows 10 would be the last version of Windows ever released. Instead, the company would release major updates for that operating system.
Windows 11 has a new Start menu and a centered taskbar will be a part of the revamped user interface. Microsoft is also introducing Snap layouts to help users with multi-tasking on Windows 11.
The new generation of Windows will also be more touch friendly, according to the presentation. Teams integration is coming directly to Windows 11. Users will be able to call anyone, video call anyone; it will not matter if the other user is on a different device, even a Mac.
Windows 11 delivers the best PC gaming experiences yet'. Games will look better than ever due to automatic HDR (which is in the new Xbox consoles). Not sure how much of a big impact this will be, especially if you don't have a HDR monitor.
Talking about adaptability. Even when using a tablet-like Windows 11 device, 'Windows 11 will always feel like Windows 11'. So tablet mode has died in a way, but the operating system overall has been improved for touch. Also now supports gestures.
Windows 11 will bring you closer to people you love, and the information you need to know. Now, they've introduced Windows Widgets, powered by AI, apparently. Let's 'Windows 11 adapt to you'.
They have also made using Windows 11 without a keyboard easier than ever.
Virtual desktops can now be personalised with its own wallpapers. Maybe not the most exciting addition, but it will make it easier to quickly remember which desktop you're using.
