The partnership will connect Woodland’s 171 stores and central warehouse through Fynd’s OMS and WMS platforms, improving inventory visibility, fulfilment efficiency and digital commerce capabilities across retail and online channels.
Fynd, an AI-native retail technology company backed by Reliance Retail Ventures Limited, has expanded its technology partnership with outdoor footwear and apparel brand Woodland to support the retailer’s omnichannel growth.
Under the expanded deployment, Fynd’s Order Management System (OMS) and Warehouse Management System (WMS) will connect Woodland’s 171 stores with its central warehouse operations. The integration is designed to provide greater inventory visibility, streamline fulfilment and support the brand’s growing digital commerce operations.
Unified platform connects retail and digital channels
Woodland has integrated its store network and central warehouse with Fynd’s platform, creating a connected operating environment across physical and digital channels.
Through Fynd’s OMS, Woodland can manage omnichannel fulfilment from its retail stores, while real-time inventory synchronisation extends across marketplaces including Myntra, AJIO, Flipkart, Nykaa, Nykaa Fashion and Tata Cliq.
The integration is aimed at reducing inventory discrepancies, improving order accuracy and creating a more consistent customer experience across different sales channels.
Fynd said the technology backbone connects Woodland’s stores, warehouse, enterprise resource planning (ERP) and point-of-sale (POS) systems with its digital commerce channels. By bringing these systems together, the platform is intended to reduce manual processes and operational complexity while enabling faster, data-driven decisions.
The integrated infrastructure is also designed to handle high-volume periods. During peak sales, Woodland’s stores can fulfil up to 2,500 orders a day, while its central warehouse processes as many as 2,000 orders daily. Together, the operations can handle a peak volume of around 4,500 orders per day through the platform.
WMS deployment to strengthen warehouse operations
“Retailers today are moving beyond isolated commerce systems and building connected operating models that can adapt in real time," said Ragini Varma, Chief Business Officer – India, Fynd. “Woodland's scale makes inventory visibility and fulfillment orchestration critical to growth. Through this long-standing partnership, we are helping create a unified commerce ecosystem that improves operational efficiency, strengthens inventory accuracy, and enables the flexibility required to serve customers seamlessly across channels."
“As our omnichannel business continues to grow, maintaining visibility and coordination across stores, warehouses, and digital channels becomes increasingly important,” said Sandeep Garg, General Manager - Head of E-commerce & Digital Marketing, Woodland. “Fynd's unified platform has helped us create a more connected operational framework that improves fulfillment agility, enhances inventory visibility, and positions us to grow efficiently while delivering a consistent customer experience.”
Fynd’s WMS is currently being implemented at Woodland to streamline key warehouse activities, including receiving, putaway, picking, packing and dispatch.
The next phase of the deployment is expected to bring greater automation, warehouse intelligence and operational control to Woodland’s supply chain. Fynd said the combined OMS and WMS infrastructure will provide a scalable foundation for Woodland as it expands across physical retail, e-commerce and marketplace channels.
